Be. your own business (B.YOB), is an avant-garde + evolved + global business paradigm created by M o d e r n i t é G l o b a l, based on its be. paradigm.

The B.YOB business paradigm consist of three elements: psychology, selection, and design.

The following is the psychology behind the B.YOB paradigm.

Our mission at m o d e r n i t é l a b + M o d e r n i t é G l o b a l is to help create a highly evolved world where we can live as one, in connectedness, and harmony with self, others, nature, and the planet.

In an effort to make this a reality we decided to reimagine the business eco-system as something more evolved than the current primitive business paradigm.

We noticed that when people conducted themselves as the aspects of love, that they are, (peace, wisdom, joy creativity, freedom etc.), they tended to be busy in service to humanity, and as a result, steeped in the enjoyment of soul satisfaction (ultimate and complete fulfillment).

So, we wondered won't businesses built on aspects of love and service to humanity be more evolved (cooperation not competition; love not fear) and soul satisfying than businesses under the current primitive paradigm, where profit and power reign supreme over life, people, nature, environment, planet, love, integrity, cooperation, harmony, or oneness?

Because our answer was in the affirmative, we decided to create a neoteric evolved global business paradigm, B.YOB, based on our be. paradigm.

The B.YOB paradigm is the design of a bespoke business specifically so the owner can be, express, and experience who they really are (an aspect of love) in service to humanity; and as a result, enjoy soul satisfaction (pinnacle of fullfillment).

We believe that businesses based on the B.YOB paradigm, as they are antithetical to the current business paradigm, could play a compelling role to help create a more evolved world.

Hence, this business paradigm could propel us miles ahead toward the accomplishment of our mission.

The first step in the selection process under the B.YOB paradigm is to acknowledge who you really are (what aspect of love you are).

The second step is to select the type of business you would like to design, where you can be, express, and experience who you really are in service to humanity.

After reading the "be." modernité lab post and doing the examinations you probably know what aspect of love you are.

For example, it turns out that the aspect of love that you are is peace.

A business that would work for someone who is peace is one where that person could be, express, and experience peace.

You be, express, and experience peace by doing peaceful acts.

Thus, a business designed so that you can do peaceful acts in service to humanity could include the following: a spa, ashram, meditation and mindfulness institute, yoga studio, massage therapy clinic, relaxation music writer, composer, producer, publisher, or performer, among others.

As outlined above there are numerous businesses to design so an owner can do peaceful acts in service to humanity.

However, of the numerous potential businesses that an owner can design they should consider selecting the one that will afford them the best opportunity to be, express, and experience who they really are and give them the utmost soul satisfaction.

For example, you are peace, but you are shy. Instead of designing a yoga business you might select a meditation business to design.

Further, if you have a particular skill doing certain peaceful acts you might want to design your business around those skills; again, and for emphasis, as long as you can be, express, and experience peace in service to humanity.

The process used for selecting a business to design for a person who is peace is the same for someone who maybe a different aspect of love.

The design process under the B.YOB paradigm can include several different phases. For example, conception, jam + rap session, and design phases. These phases can be used in the design of several different business elements such as, structure, culture, and client or customer experience.

In keeping with our example, you are peace; you've decided to design a business (meditation and mindfulness institute) doing peaceful acts for others.

Therefore, during the conception, the jam + rap session, and the design phases the focus must be entirely on making certain the design of the B.YOB's structure, culture, and experience are in alignment with and predicated on peace.

For example, an owner who is peace would design a remote or virtual structure for its business, as commuting is very stressful and agitating; they would design a culture free of competition where cooperation is treasured, as competition kills peace; and to provide a total client or customer experience they would design an easy to use intuitive and anticipatory website, as tech complexity can trigger anxiety.

These are just a few of the various ways a B.YOB can be designed.

Again, the aspect of love that someone is, will dictate which design phases are utilized, the different elements that get designed, and the overall design of the entire B.YOB.

That said, we are undeterred in our mission; we do this work not because we have to, not because we want to, but because we must!
